Janelle Petrescue is a Registered Massage Therapist and has been practicing since 2008. Janelle’s interest in the body began during her undergrad at Trinity Western University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics, she continued on to study Therapeutic Massage as a means to put her knowledge to practical use.
She is a graduate of the 3000 hour program from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, B.C. Janelle is a member of the Massage Therapists Association of BC and remains in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of B.C.
Janelle is continually amazed and intrigued with the human body, more specifically how we heal, and how we function in the presence of various stressors. Through her own experiences, as well as within her practice, she continues to see first hand how physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual stressors can manifest symptoms throughout our bodies. She considers massage therapy to play a strategic roll in assisting with the management of stress and pain.
Janelle believes health education is essential for fostering proactive health care and wellness. She recognizes the importance of coming along side her patients to encourage and empower them in their health journeys. She enjoys challenging her patients to tune in and become more aware of their bodies. The human body is an incredible masterpiece and communicates with us if we would take the time to listen.
