False Creek is a waterfront neighbourhood and is built on reclaimed industrial land with sawmills and small port businesses in the heart of Vancouver. Its borders are False Creek waterway to the north, West 6th Avenue to the south, Ontario Street to the east and Burrard Street to the west. False Creek includes Granville, Cambie and Burrard Street bridges as well as TELUS World of Science, Granville Island, Molson Breweries and the Olympic Village and the Seaforth Armoury.

It wasn’t until the 1990’s that this area was re-purposed with plans for condos and townhouses, Co-Ops and low income housing; marinas and the waterfront market. By 2010 the Winter Olympic Village was built and today there is much new growth and construction.
