Rhea will not be moving with us and is looking to practice closer to home in Surrey. She will be finishing her last day with us on Friday May 11/18. We will keep you posted as to where she will be practicing in the future.
Rhea graduated from the 2200 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2015. In her time there she worked with the UBC Varsity Teams, at BC Women’s Hospital, and the Multiple Sclerosis clinic at WCCMT.
With a background in ballet and contemporary dance, she understands the importance of injury prevention and effective injury rehabilitation. Rhea’s fascination with anatomy and the human body lead her to a career in massage therapy and motivate her to continue expanding her knowledge.
Ultimately, her goal is to improve her patient’s overall well-being by addressing the need for self care. She employs Swedish Massage with modalities such as Trigger Point Release, Myofacial Release, Therapeutic Exercise as well as homecare to achieve this goal.
Born in B.C., Rhea often finds herself exploring our beautiful province, camping and hiking, or just sitting on the beach! And when she is not enjoying the company of her family and friends, she’s often lost in a book.
